Position summary:

As a Web Content Editor, you will leverage your Content Management System (CMS) expertise to execute and help plan content strategies. Is it you:

  • Able to maintain editorial calendar and enforce web governance and style guide compliance
  • Ensures that web content conforms to established standards and best practices
  • Develops and edits content to support web initiatives and strategic objectives
  • Review content of web wallets for freshness and accuracy
  • Analyzes content, structure and information architecture of sites to identify needs and opportunities
  • Collaborates with stakeholders to measure the effectiveness and success of content
  • Works closely with internal product teams to recommend user experience improvements and to ensure technical capabilities align with content needs
  • Ensures content successfully communicates to appropriate audiences on websites

Education: Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Journalism or related field.

Experience, knowledge, skills and abilities:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a content strategist, content designer or closely related position
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills
  • Portfolio or ability to demonstrate contributions on previous projects related to content strategy
  • Demonstrated experience working with modern web media and interactive formats
  • Experience working with content management systems
  • Knowledge of WCAG and 508 compliance
  • Experience in generating and reading basic analytical reports
  • Experience working with project management tools including Jira and Asana
  • Experience with user-centered design principles a plus
  • Understanding of semantic HTML markup and structured content

To travel: The position may require business travel to attend meetings and events as directed by the supervisor.
